At the beginning of August we loaded up our car and took the normally 9 hour drive to Toledo where Landon saw his nana, grandpa Gary, and lots of other family and friends. The total travel time ended up being closer to 12 hours with all the stops we made, but Landon was such a superb traveler we really can't complain. After spending a few days in Toldeo getting loved on by aunts, uncles and cousins, we headed south to Columbus to stay a few days with Andy's dad. From there it was back to New Jersey for a day of laundry and repacking before we caught a flight to Colorado. Landon slept, ate, and played on the plane. He didn't fuss a bit which earned him rave reviews from the fellow passengers. Once in Colorado we all spent time with many more family memebers and friends, and Landon's welcome party also happened take place on the day that Colorado Springs set a record for the highest amount of rainfall in one day.
It's nice to be back home now but we certainly miss all Colorado and Ohio family and friends and can't wait to visit them again soon!
